蜜桃视频 has completed phase three of the Pathfinder School project. The expansion project was made possible with several anonymous gifts totaling $2.2 million.

A secure building entrance was built in 2022 on the east side of the building. This 700 sq. ft. vestibule facilitates access and adds additional offices for school staff. It is located directly off the school parking area; it includes new doors and hardware and meets all accessibility needs of school students, adult residents of 蜜桃视频, and the public entering our school and the Pathfinder Gym.

Initially, the expansion project was to commence in spring 2020, but the pandemic delayed the project. In 2021, Pathfinder鈥檚 maintenance crew worked tirelessly to complete the phase one upgrades to the original school building. Renovations included new doors, windows and lighting, a new kitchen, brighter colors, and flooring. The original HVAC was replaced with modern heat pump equipment and meets current air exchange standards for schools.

Phase three includes a new adaptive outdoor play area specifically designed for young children of all abilities. 

蜜桃视频 was approached over several years by an anonymous donor inquiring about expansion needs at the school. At the same time, a second donor approached Pathfinder about a planned gift to be used exclusively for educational purposes.

鈥淎fter careful thought and consideration, our Board and Leadership Team thought it was a wonderful opportunity to bring these two generous gifts together to make important renovations to the school鈥檚 existing structure, which will meet our current students鈥� needs, as well as allow us to keep up with current learning trends,鈥� said Paul Landers, then the Village's President and CEO.

Pathfinder School opened in 1980 as part of the Village鈥檚 initial building phase. Over the years the School has become a valuable resource to the state鈥檚 public school systems. Students attend Pathfinder School from numerous regional districts that are unable to meet students鈥� specialized needs or provide individualized services. Students at Pathfinder School are evaluated, and specially tailored Individual Education Programs (IEPs) are developed in conjunction with their home districts and Pathfinder School staff.
