Edmeston, NY, April 16, 2019 鈥� Sign up for colorful, affordable family fun at the Splash Path 5k and Fun Walk at 蜜桃视频 on Saturday, May 18.  Online registration is open for this vibrant paint run-and-walk that is raising funds for the Pathfinder Produce Mobile Market, which delivers fresh fruits and vegetables to area communities.

蜜桃视频 is a residential community and service provider for those with Down syndrome and other disabilities.  Now in its sixth year, Pathfinder Produce works with healthcare partners to transport fresh fruits and vegetables to area families living in food deserts; the Mobile Market also creates meaningful, community-based vocational opportunities for adults with disabilities.

鈥淪plash Path is an inclusive way for families to enjoy a fun fitness activity together. We welcome walkers and runners of all ages, abilities, and fitness levels,鈥� said Splash Path Chair Monica Clark. 鈥淲e鈥檙e grateful for the tremendous community support we鈥檝e received for our signature 5k, and we鈥檙e inviting additional participants, volunteers, sponsors, and vendors to join the celebration.鈥�

Splash Path will offer its popular ZUMBA^庐 warm-up with licensed instructor Zo毛 Curtis at 9 a.m.  The event also features an after run celebration at the Pathfinder Pavilion through 2 p.m.  Register to win quality prizes donated by local businesses.  A barbecue, music by DJ Chris Curtis, exhibits by local vendors, kids鈥� activities, and exhibition matches organized by Empire Cornhole will also be featured.

Early registration fees are set so that families may enjoy this fun and fitness event: Children under 5 are free, Children (5-9) are $5; Youths (10-18) are $10; Adults are $20; the Family rate for 3 or more family members is $45.  Early registration runs through May 10, after that date, modest late fees will be charged.  Participants who register early will receive a Splash Path tee shirt, goodie bag, and other donated items.

On the day of Splash Path, registration starts at the Pathfinder Gym at 8:30 a.m. The run/walk begins at 10 a.m., with a color burst of non-toxic race colors in the School parking lot.  The run/walk proceeds east on NYS 80 to Robinson Road.  Runners and walkers will turnaround, and return through the Pathfinder neighborhood.  The run/walk ends at the Pathfinder Pavilion. For more information, please email This email address is being protected from spambots.
